A friend of mine is interviewing with McKinsey, and I want to mock interview him. Are there any guides or tools out there that can help me do that more effectively?
Hi there,
The usual way is to come up with some sort of problem you are trying to solve (eg. declining profits, slow growth etc.), come up with the conclusion you want the interviewee to reach (eg. increase profits by cutting costs), and then come up with numbers/facts to guide them towards the right conclusion. I found the following blog to contain some useful resources in case prep:

The cases listed on consultingcase101 are pretty good, and you just have to come up with some data so that when the interviewee asks you a question like "what are our revenues", you have numbers to give.
I hope that helps!
